Puna Youth Soul’d Out Camp
Youth will check-in at 4 pm on July 7, 2023 at KMC and check-out by 9 am on July 10, 2023.
To become SOUL’d out, you do not wear a costume or hide behind bougie clothes to be accepted by God. All He wants is you to know Him and for Him to know you.
KAG Youth, CORE Youth, and Haili Christian School are combining for this camp.
Come join us for an awesome camp with great worship,games,bowling, pickleball, great food, and time with Jesus and the members of Hawai’i Island youth. This camp will start at 8am on July 7 until July 10th, 2023 with campers arriving at Puna Covenant Church for transportation to Kilauea Military Recreation Camp. Camp check out at KMC is 9 am on July 10

Our core is the center most part of our being. Many of us do not fully understand what is going on inside of us, even during the best of times. We have been upset in one moment and then have an”over-the-top excitement” moment. This is part of being a young person. Some of us don't even blink an eye at outrageous or 'degrading' things that happen in our world. How we act is part of our deepest core-being. This is true with most people. If we believe in something, then we often talk about it. It becomes part of our life.
Core Youth is the youth ministry of Puna Covenant Church. We have seen young people overcome many difficult things in their life, but the core of our our ministry - Our Faith in Jesus Christ - has provided great victories over different trials our youth have gone through.
Our desire is that through practical living we allow Jesus to be the center and core of our life. We also partner with Young Life (YL) - Kea'au Club in providing a place for the youth of Puna where young people can meet in a safe, secure and fun environment. YL Kea’au meet every week during the school year.
Our passion is to offer youth a place where Jesus will become the core of your life. We believe that only Jesus can give us real life.
We equip and inspire our youth to experience serving and experiencing ministry opportunities. We created the the “Core Cafe". Maybe it is just a catchy title to describe what we are crafting to be really good espresso, coffee, and tea for our church family ministries. We desire to make you the best espresso available and provide an environment of great fellowship at our cafe in the pavilion. As you support and invest in this ministry, all profits will support our youth, youth ministries for local and international missions.

Games and fun
Sham battle, water nights, RAD volleyball, glow nights are just a few of the games we do at Core Youth. Not every game is worthy to be played the way we have always played it, so we change the rules to have more fun and ensure that everyone plays and is safe.
Not only do we get together on our Kea'au campus at 16-647 Old Volcano Road, Kea'au, but we hike, camp, bike, BBQ, go to the beach throughout the year. Come join the CORE.
